This is the disclosure statement for ClimateChangeGuide.com.
Throughout my website you will see ads and product recommendations. In most cases, I am an affiliate with these programs and get compensated for recommending their products. In addition, please realize that I will never recommend a product I consider junky or misleading.
If you see a testimonial on my website, it’s real. I will never fake a testimonial or pay someone to "say something good" about a product or company. Please keep in mind that whatever the person says is their opinion and not necessarily my own.
All web-form submissions become property of this website and are protected by federal copyright laws. If you want to "copy the content" you must get my permission first. If you want to link to one of my pages, simply use the "pay it forward" button at the bottom of the web-page and you will be able to upload the HTML directly into your website or blog.
I provide all content on this website free of charge, to help people who are interested in climate change. However, I could not afford to devote the time required to do this without being able to earn an income.
In order for me to bring you free, high quality, useful information, I use various methods to earn an income from my website. These methods include the use of Google Adsense, placement of third party ads, and various affiliate programs.
An affiliate program is a type of online pay-per-sale or "finder's fee" arrangement. Typically, the way it works is that a company will pay out a commission for every sale sent to them by any website owner who has been approved to participate in their affiliate program. In theory, the way an affiliate program works is that I have a website or a blog and I love a particular product, so I recommend it to my visitors. If someone makes a purchase as a result, I receive a small commission for sending the customer to the affiliate store.
As mentioned before, I'll only recommend a product or service if I deem it a good one. In other words, I will never recommend a product solely because I can earn a commission on it.
Laurent Cousineau is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
This website is my online business. I am passionate about my topic and I'm proud of what I do. I enjoy helping my visitors with their questions on climate change. However, I can afford to do this in part because of the affiliate commissions I earn.
I appreciate your support in visiting my sponsors and considering my recommendations. This site takes time, effort and money to maintain and to deliver on-going original content free of charge. Supporting my sponsors is a WIN-WIN-WIN for you, for me, and for them.
If you have any questions at all about this disclosure statement, please feel free to contact me. I'm always happy to chat with my visitors!
Thanks for reading my disclosure statement.
